Oh Happy Weekend, Friends! I hope everyone’s weekend is running smooth with a little relaxation in place ☺️
One of the most disappointing changes for me professionally when Covid set into our communities was not being allowed in the hospital with my beautiful Maternity and Newborn Photography Families. There was absolutely no argument from me with regard to the rules or the necessary safety precautions we are all needing to take, but I was and still am really bummed about missing the experiences of these first few hours with these families.
But those First 48 sessions have transitioned into in-home Newborn Sessions, which in so many ways have been equally as beautiful and exciting. Having the opportunity to include nursery images, quiet moments between new baby and mom, and super special moments between older siblings, grandparents and other visitors that may not have beeb present in the hospital has added joy to these newborn sessions that I truly did not anticipate.
This beautiful family session is the perfect example. I love, LOVE these family moments; the play-doh, the hand holding, the snuggles, the at-home garden, the real life moments. The first few hours of life are beautiful. But, experiencing real life with these families in their home is absolutely gorgeous.
